My Story
“My path to Chinese medicine began unexpectedly during a challenging period of chronic pain that Western medicine struggled to address. Initially pursuing naturopathic medicine, I discovered qigong through elective courses, which gave me my first glimpse into the profound depths of East Asian healing arts. The study of Yin Yang and Five Element theory opened my eyes to a more holistic understanding of health and healing—one that would ultimately reshape my entire approach to medicine.
My lifelong fascination with the mind-body connection naturally led me to dive deeper into East Asian Medicine—a profound and time-honored tradition that has thrived for thousands of years by seeing health as the balance between mind, body, and spirit. Captivated by its deep wisdom and holistic perspective, I pursued a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. I also hold a Master's degree in Integrative Mental Health and am a licensed massage therapist in Oregon.
My practice is rooted in a personalized, whole-person approach. Drawing from both ancient wisdom and modern understanding, I focus on identifying and addressing the root causes of physical pain and emotional distress, rather than merely managing symptoms. Through stimulating the body's natural healing abilities, I help restore balance, alleviate pain, and enhance mental clarity and emotional well-being.
I specialize in acupuncture, multiple styles of massage, and nutrition and dietary counseling, offering a comprehensive approach to wellness that adapts to each individual's unique needs. My ultimate goal is to empower patients to achieve harmony of self.
In my practice, you'll find a peaceful sanctuary where healing encompasses not just the physical body but extends to the mind and spirit. I believe in creating a warm, nurturing environment where you can feel heard, understood, and supported in your path to wellness.”
