Acupuncture

Acupuncture uses small, sterile needles in a wide variety of ways to produce a range of therapeutic outcomes. I specialize in several styles of acupuncture.

Saam Korean Acupuncture
Exceptional in its ability to regulate core physiological functions including digestion, sleep, hormones, and emotions.

Balance Method
Ideally suited in the treatment of acute and chronic pain.

Trigger Point or “Dry Needling” Works directly with the muscles and tendons to relieve pain and eliminate physiological stress.

“His approach is truly holistic and it is great to be able to now be treated with combined acupuncture and massage in one session. He offers a lot of flexibility at very reasonable pricing. Highly recommended!” — Jane

Bodywork

All of my treatments involve some degree of bodywork. To what degree is based on indication and client preference. I offer several styles of bodywork, all with their own unique strengths and indications.

Shiatsu
Originating in Japan, Shiatsu utilizes repetitive movements combined with sustained pressure to gently “wash out” the tissues and restore proper flow.

Tuina
A form of Chinese manual therapy that utilizes oscillating pressure to align the musculoskeletal and channel systems. Unlike Swedish or deep tissue massage, Tui Na can be performed through light clothing and does not require lotion or oil.

Qigong Tuina
A more gentle form of bodywork that engages with and gradually untangles the fascial network that surrounds the muscles and organs.

Biodynamic Cranialsacral
A gentle and non-invasive form of bodywork that stimulates the body’s capacity for reorganization and healing, and is uniquely relaxing for the nervous system.

Swedish Massage
Using light to moderate pressure, the focus is on relaxation and restoration.

Deep Tissue Massage
Similar in technique to Swedish Massage, however, the pressure is amplified at times in order to release tension deep within the muscles and fascia.

“I had fallen and lost hearing in my right ear. I was fortunate to have been referred to Taylor St Clair. His knowledge of Cranial Sacral was why I went. I found he uses acupuncture with Cranial Sacral and my hearing came back after 4 treatments.” — Andrea
